Weather in Florida

With an average annual high temperature of 81 degrees, Florida has the kind of weather that attracts many. It's sun-kissed beaches are open all year long. The summers are long, warm-to-hot and fairly humid. Winters are mild with occasional shots of cool-to-cold air, mostly during the evening. Florida's coastal regions experience somewhat warmer temperatures in winter and a bit cooler temperatures in summer. Florida's many inland lakes and the state's proximity to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico also affect its climate.
